All packages will be shipped via UPS, US Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail, or DHL Worldwide Express as applicable.
SHIPPING RATES AND DELIVERY TIMES
Shipping rates and delivery times will vary depending on destination and order size.
UPS Ground usually takes 5 to 7 business days to deliver in the CONUS, although customers on the west coast often get their packages 1 to 3 days after UPS picks them up for delivery from our store.
UPS Worldwide Saver Express usually takes 7 to 10 business days.
DHL Worldwide Express usually takes 5 to 10 business days.
USPS First Class Mail usually takes 2 to 7 days to reach the destination address.
USPS Priority Mail usually takes 3 to 5 business days to reach the target country.
USPS Express Mail EMS usually takes 2 to 3 business days to reach the target country.
UNITED STATES
• Orders from US addresses in the main 48 states (CONUS) will usually be shipped via standard UPS Ground.
• On occasion, we may choose to use USPS instead of UPS at our option if we deem it more efficient for the particular order.
• Orders for Alaska and Hawaii will be shipped via USPS.
• Orders to be sent to P.O. Boxes will be shipped via USPS because UPS cannot deliver to P.O. boxes.
NOTE: UPS, DHL, and USPS do not pick up packages from our store for delivery after 4:00 PM [PST GMT-8] Friday, all Saturday, nor all Sunday. Therefore, any orders during the weekend will not actually be shipped until Monday at the earliest.
US MILITARY APO/FPO
All orders to US Military APOs and FPOs will be shipped via US Postal Service. This is due to the extra required customs declarations forms that must be completed and attached to the packages.
CANADA and MEXICO (non-US North America)
Orders to Canadian and Mexican addresses will usually be shipped via UPS Worldwide Saver Express. Occasionally we will use USPS Priority Mail International if we deem it more efficient for the particular order.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS (outside of North America)
All other orders to addresses outside of the United States will be shipped via UPS Worldwide Saver Express, DHL Worldwide Express, or United States Postal Service International Priority Mail as applicable.
There is a $25.00 USD additional surcharge for International shipping orders.
This surcharge will show up as an "International Shipping Surcharge" during checkout and payment.
*** SPECIAL NOTE FOR OUR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS ***
*** REGARDING APPLICATION OF CUSTOMS DUTIES (VAT) ***
International customers need to remember that they may be charged customs duties (VAT) by their local government entity. We do not determine what, if any, customs duties (VAT) must be paid. That is strictly decided by the destination countrys government authorities.
It doesnt matter the shipping method used, as USPS, UPS, and DHL shipments will be subject to customs duties.
One determining factor seems to be the quantity of items ordered, and the size of the package that is sent. Ordering many items results in a large package, which will likely be stopped and inspected, with customs duties applied.
Breaking apart the order into smaller shipments may avoid customs duties, but that is offset by the much greater shipping charges incurred by doing such. If a customer pays $120 to ship a large order, it might cost $240 to ship it as 3 or 4 smaller packages.
We will try to help our international customers as much as possible by declaring the items a reasonable lower value. However, sometimes local customs officers will open and inspect your package and decide that you must pay duties (VAT) regardless of the amounts declared by California Clothing.
That is the cost of purchasing items internationally. When we order items from other countries and have them shipped to our store here in the United States, we must pay customs duties on all items.
We cannot reimburse for any amount that a customer must pay in customs duties (VAT). That is a matter that one must discuss with the local government authority.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Items returned for exchange or refund must be sent to the following address:

Just like payments, all refunds given will be issued through PayPal. They are our payment, credit card, and refund processing site.
Refunds to PayPal accounts will usually post the same day. Refunds to bank accounts and eChecks may take 3 to 5 business days to post and show up in your bank account balance.
Refunds to credit cards may take up to 30 days to process and show up on your statement. That is a condition of PayPal. California Clothing has no control on how quickly PayPal processes refunds once we submit them to their site.
